Javier is a professional Spanish-language teacher, Interpreter (English to Spanish) and translator with over 18 years experience teaching for Barlovento School of Spanish, TDSB’s, theTCDSB, TCFSB , Banks, and many other corporations in Toronto, Canada. Javier studied Administration, Human Resouces, Adult Education, Music and Languages (Spanish, English, French, Italian and Portuguese) at universities in Toronto, Canada and Colombia, South America. Javier and his team have developed a learning method for Spanish-language students and teachers. A textbook is in development to compliment this method using true-to-life dialogues, useful vocabulary, and visual grammar - making learning faster, easier and more enjoyable than before.

Adilia Ramos

Spanish Language Teacher and translator

A professional Ontario Certified Teacher born in Cuba, Adilia has over 5 years of experience in the fields of teaching, coaching and tutoring children and adults. Adilia has taught Spanish and English to a wide range of ages, as well as Latin dance to adult groups. Adilia is passionate about enrichment through teaching and learning. She incorporates music and dance into her language and literacy classes and Spanish into her dance classes. Adilia hopes to inspire her students to be life-long learners and critical thinkers. Adilia received her B.A. (Hons.) in Spanish and English from the University of Toronto and her B.Ed. from the University of Toronto, OISE. She also holds a certificate of translation English-Spanish from the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies.
