Learn How to Speak Spanish

SpanishTO offers 2 levels of Beginner conversational Spanish at any of our Toronto locations. In-person and Online. 

Certificate of Spanish for Beginners International level A1.

You must complete:

Spanish for Beginners Level 1: A full semester of 10 classes, to be completed in 2 courses of 5 lessons each.

Spanish for Beginners Level 2: A full semester of 10 classes, to be completed in 2 courses of 5 lessons each.

Through conversation, interaction and fun! We incorporate video, music, dialogues and news articles into conversation and provide a solid grounding in introductory grammar. Both our In Person and Online sessions feature guest teachers from around the world.

Online Spanish Private classes are 1 hour in length, one-one with professional teachers.  Complimentary Online evaluation to determine your Spanish level and discuss your goals!  Your custom schedule, pace and level. Online Spanish classes are held on Zoom, Teams, or Google meets. Want a class with friends? Group classes available. Take advantage of our excellent prices and high quality service.

In Person Toronto beginner Spanish classes are small with no more than eight students. Classes are 60 minutes in length and each course lasts 5 weeks. With morning, lunchtime and evening classes starting every week, there’s sure to be a class that fits your schedule!

Online spanish courses offered 7 days a week, between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm Est.

In-person classes onsite at multiple locations in Toronto and the GTA.

Classes & Levels:

Spanish Lessons for Beginners in Toronto: Levels I-II or A1 International level

These two courses cover the material equivalent to Level A1 international standards.

Upon completion of these courses you will be able to:

Beginners Spanish I or A1 (part 1)

  1. Greet and say good-bye.
  2. Introduce yourself and others.
  3. Ask questions about people, places and things.
  4. Use basic vocabulary: family, numbers, colours and directions.
  5. Tell time.
  6. Place an order in a restaurant and learn to shop.
  7. Master basic grammar and pronunciation.
  8. Start to read and write.

Beginners Spanish II or A1 (part 2)

  1. Ask and give directions (using “hay”).
  2. Going shopping.
  3. Talk about the weather.
  4. Express likes and dislikes.
  5. Express daily routines.
  6. Use Spanish verbs (To Be, To Have, To Go, To Like)
  7. Master basic grammar and pronunciation.
  8. Express yourself in the present and past tense.

All you need are three friends (four students minimum) willing to take five Spanish classes. The location, frequency, day and time is up to you! Contact us or call to check availability.

Packing your bags for a southern vacation? This single-session, two-hour class will teach you all the Spanish you need to know. Online Sessions Available Fridays at 6:30 pm EST. Course Fee: $65.00 + HST for one – 2 hour class.
